A Safe Place-A Place of Hope and Healing  

Client Program

Services are available to female adult survivors (ages 18 and older) impacted by sexual violence as a child, adolescent or as an adult. 

All services are confidential. 


Christ-centered support groups utilizing the Shelter from the Storm© - Hope for Survivors of Sexual Abuse curriculum. Fee based groups are offered in the Spring and Fall semesters and are a safe place for survivors to begin their personal healing journey from the emotional and spiritual effects of being sexually exploited. The cost per semester is $300.00. Payment plans are offered. Please contact our office for additional information. 


"Building Collaboration and Community, Sharing Hope, Walking Side by Side" Dr. Katrina Sweet - We provide ongoing social opportunities and a safe place to connect with a network of over comers who are emotionally supportive and who foster an environment of acceptance, community and safety to assist survivors who have been forced to suffer in silence. 


We provide referrals to professional counseling, crisis hot lines, legal and social services as well as faith based ministries 

to assist clients in rebuilding and establishing their lives to a state of balance.

Community Outreach

Presentations on awareness, prevention, and recovery are presented throughout the year at colleges, universities, churches, and outreach program to inform the public regarding the long terms effect of sexual violence and emotional abuse
