Blanch Tomatoes & Homemade Spaghetti Sauce


If you want to make a homemade sauce using blanched tomatoes in some of your favorite dishes, watch this short video.


This is one of my favorite recipes. I enjoy making my own sauce because I can limit the amount of sodium, sugars, and preservatives that are often found in jarred and canned


sauces. In this video, I used several herbs and spices. You can use any herbs and spices that you like. Just limit the amount of salt that you use. Too much salt is not good for you.


I normally make this sauce the same day I am going to use it. However, you can store the sauce in the refrigerator for up to three days or in an airtight container or freezer bag and store it in the freezer for up to three months.
